Technology is based on innovation, innovation is based on education. Technology, Innovation, Education – this triad as a title for a department of HA Hessen Agentur is meant to leave behind traditional borders of sectors, departments and age groups. Be it bio-, nano-, environmental or media technologies, be it sectoral networks, technology transfer, innovation counselling and support or Lifelong learning – the competences and tasks of the department Technology, Innovation, Education are very broad.
As think tank of the State of Hessen the department develops new topics and initiatives. Moreover it carries out the project management of various action lines and realizes highly visible fair activities and websites with wide publicity effect.
The department mostly works on projects of the State of Hessen. In addition, the European Union, the Federal Government and others use the technology competence and the regional and international networks of the highly interdisciplinary team.
In the foundation concept of HA Hessen Agentur a high-level technology board was foreseen right from the beginning. This board was founded at the end of the year 2005 in the presence of Ministerpresident Roland Koch and State Minister Dr. Alois Rhiel.
