Hessen Agentur provides individually tailored advice to small- and medium-sized firms including start-up entrepreneurs. As the official representatives of the Hessen Economics Ministry we promote the advanced technologies of biotechnology, environmental--technology and nanotechnology.
The sub-programmes “hessen-biotech”, “hessen-umwelttech” and “hessen-nanotech” aim to further strengthen the competitive ability of technology and service firms in Hessen. For this the expertise, experience and potential of these economic sectors are presented and developed further. Particularly important for the primarily small- and medium-sized firms are the development of new markets and the effects of synergy gains via joint ventures. In this regard Hessen has the best conditions both in Germany and abroad, to be able to successfully profile itself as a technology center. The tasks of the program are therefore technology and location marketing and, above all, market transparency, the organization of information exchanges and transfers, as well as promoting the development of networks.
